Before purchasing a policy, you should consider whether any person who will be covered by this policy has a Pre-Existing Medical Condition as defined below. If so, you can apply for cover by declaring your medical conditions and completing a medical assessment at the time you purchase your policy (currently available for Single Trip only). You cannot apply to include cover for Pre-Existing Medical Conditions of anyone who is not a covered person under this policy.
During the medical assessment, You must accurately answer questions about all Your medical conditions, as we use that information to determine whether we can cover you under this policy, and if so, on what terms. We may not accept your medical conditions for coverage, and if accepted, it may affect Your premium.
If you do not declare all of your medical conditions and any of those meet our definition of a Pre-Existing Medical Condition, then you will not be covered for any claim that arises from that Pre-Existing Medical Condition. Failure to accurately answer our questions regarding your medical conditions may also result in exclusion of declared medical conditions.
If we agree to cover your medical conditions that you declare for medical assessment, we will issue you a Medical Conditions Declaration listing your declared and covered medical conditions. The Pre-Existing Medical Conditions exclusions in Section A - Trip Cancellation and Amendment Cover and Section B – Overseas Medical Emergency Expenses Cover will not apply to your declared and covered medical conditions.
